Ruth G. Kuzara

Ruth (Glowasky) Kuzara, 100, of Southington and Bristol, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 5, 2024 at the Ingraham Manor in Bristol. 

Ruth was born on June 19, 1924 in Wolcott, CT to the late Andrew and Susan (Shia) Glowasky. She worked as an executive secretary and retired from Pratt & Whitney in Southington after many years of service. 

Ruth is survived by her sister, Dorothy Glowasky of Bristol, sister-in-law, Patricia Glowasky of Marion and several nieces and nephews that she treated like her own. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Walter, 4 brothers, George, John, Richard and Paul Glowasky and 3 sisters, Ethel Fortier, Jane Glowasky and Anne Kalinowski. 

Ruth was a longtime member of the Central Baptist Church in Southington and had a strong faith in God. She was an avid reader, enjoying all sorts of books on her Nook and loved playing word games on her iPad. Ruth will be remembered for her amazing memory and her giving spirit.

A funeral service will be celebrated at 12 noon on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury.
