Scott L. Zavodjancik

Scott L. Zavodjancik, 29, of Southington, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, October 17, 2014 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after a lifetime battle with CF.

Born on October 2, 1985 in New Britain to Paul and Cynthia (Hillgrove) Zavodjancik, he had been a lifelong Southington resident.

After Scott graduated from Southington High School in 2003 and then UTI, he worked in the automotive industry.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his twin brother Shawn Zavodjancik and his sister Susan and her daughter Michaela, all of Southington. He is also survived by two uncles; Michael Zavodjancik of AZ and Steve Hillgrove of Plainville and several cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Scott's memory may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, Suite 200, Bethesda, MD 20814.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 24, 2014 at St. Aloysius Church, 254 Burritt St., Southington. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held from 4 - 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville.
