Sheila M. (Gallagher) Dunbar, 73, passed away suddenly surrounded by her family, on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Hartford Hospital. She had been the loving wife of the late Bruce J. Dunbar for over 30 years.

Sheila was born on June 14, 1950 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Charles Jr. and Kathleen (Kavanaugh) Gallagher. She enjoyed working as a CNA at Cheshire Convalescent Home for many years. Sheila dedicated her later years to raising her two granddaughters, Bella and Lily, who became more like daughters to her. Her favorite pastime was crocheting, knitting and listening to Irish music. Sheila was an animal lover all her life. Most of all, she was a devoted and loving wife, mother, stepmother and grandmother.

Sheila is survived by two sons and two daughters, Chris Rowe (Eileen Myers), Dan Rowe (Alicia Audi), Katie Dickinson (Erick), Maggie McLane (Chris); two stepdaughters, Jennifer Beausoleil (Vern) and Heather Adamczyk (John), her special niece, Marybeth Scott (Joe); nine grandchildren, Bella Velez, Lily Johnson, Lisa, Seamus and Connor Dickinson, Michael Jr. and Samantha Rowe and Kyle and Jessie Beausoleil and 6 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Donna Cameron and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband Bruce, she was predeceased by her son, Michael J. Rowe, Sr., daughter, Teresa Lynn Rowe and brother-in-law, Daniel Cameron.
