Stanislawa Deptula

Stanislawa Deptula, 93, Of Old Mill Rd. in the Plantsville section of Southington died Saturday Oct. 31, 2009 at home. She was the wife of the late Frank Deptula.

Born May 26, 1916 in Poland to the late Joseph and Rozalia Giers she had live in Plantsville since 1985.

She is survived by four sons: Stanley and his wife Maria of Poland, Joseph and his wife Dorothy of East Hartford, Blaze and his wife, Sylvia of Arizona and Henry of Plantsville; four daughters: Bernice Giers of Poland, Gladys Deptula of Plantsville, Sophie Balawjder and her husband August of Meriden and Jean Rossignol of Newington; 20 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

She was pre-deceased by her son Eugene.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday Nov. 3, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. from the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville with a Mass at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 130 Summer St., Plantsville. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, 1 Cottage Grove Rd., Bloomfield. Calling hours are Monday Nov. 2nd from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
