Teresa L. Johnson

Teresa Lyn (Rowe) Johnson, 42, of the Plantsville section of Southington, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford.

Teresa was born on July 24, 1981 in Upper Darby, PA. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends, was an avid reader and had a deep fondness for animals. Teresa was always quick with a smile or laugh and her vibrant spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Whether it be new friends or old, she had a special way about her that always drew people in. Most of all, Teresa treasured spending time with her cherished daughters, Isabella and Lilian.

In addition to her daughters, Bella and Lily, Teresa is survived by her mother, Sheila (Gallagher) Dunbar and 4 siblings; Christopher Rowe (Eileen), Danny Rowe (Alicia), Katie Dickinson (Erik) and Maggie McLane (Chris), as well as many nieces and nephews and her companion, Jose Guzman. She was predeceased by her brother, Michael Rowe and stepfather, Bruce J. Dunbar.

In honor of Teresa’s love for animals, donations in her memory may be made to an animal shelter of the donor’s choice.
