Troy Anthony Genovese

Troy Anthony Genovese, 44, of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017 at his home.

Troy was born on February 1, 1973 in New Haven. He proudly served in the United States Army for 4 years and was honorably discharged. Troy enjoyed cooking and he loved water sports, including boating, waterskiing and especially fishing. 

He is survived by his mother, Joyce Genovese-Lehr and her husband Bob of Southington and his father William Genovese of Windsor, VT; 2 children: Olivia and Anthony Genovese, his sister Michelle Landry of New Britain and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by his extended family, Denise Generali of Waterbury and Don and Sue Paradis of Prospect.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Troy’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Funeral services with military honors will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
