Vanessa M. Moore

Vanessa M. Moore, 53, of Southington, passed away on Monday Dec. 31, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a loving devoted mother, loving sister and friend to many. She was a dedicated employee at ProHealth Insurance Co. of Farmington.

Vanessa is survived by her sons Michael and Mitchell Molleur; 2 brothers: Jeff Moore and his wife Karen; Gerard Moore and his wife Roberta; 3 sisters: Wanda Moore Turkowski; Michelle Moore and her spouse Michael Tompkins and Helen Mocko; plus several nieces, nephews and cousins. She will truly be missed by many.

Calling hours will be held on Friday Jan. 4, 2013 from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday Jan. 5, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Church, 99 Bristol St., Southington. Additional calling hours will be held before the mass from 9 - 10 a.m. at the Plantsville Funeral Home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
