William F. Jones Sr.

William F. Jones Sr., 64, longtime Southington resident, left us on Monday, August 3, 2020. He went down doing what he loved most, mowing lawns. Billy was born on June 20, 1956, son of the late Yolande Tavalozzi and Frederick Jones.

Billy loved everybody and would do anything for anyone in need. He enjoyed helping all the seniors in his housing complex with things around their homes and especially enjoyed helping his nephew, Adam Dell, with his business. For a man who didn’t have much, he had a great outlook on life. He had a calming and reassuring way to make people feel like things were going to be alright and he is already deeply missed by many.

Billy is survived by his two children, Christina Hayes and William Jones Jr. and two grandchildren, Bishop and Justice. He also leaves behind his siblings, Lawrence Jones, Brian Jones, Kelly Tavalozzi and his step-siblings, Donna Tavalozzi Mastrianni, John Tavalozzi and Glenn Tavalozzi and many nieces and nephews.
