William Taylor

William Taylor, 84, of Southington, CT passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, May 22, 2026 at his home. He was the devoted husband of Rita (Daddario) Taylor for 62 blessed years.

William was born on July 14, 1941 in Manhattan, NY to the late Bernard and Mary (Cannon) Taylor. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and had a long successful career in commercial banking. Bill loved the NY Giants and the NY Yankees, was an avid reader and enjoyed golfing. He was a former member of the Rotary Club of Southington where he served as Past President and was a Paul Harris Fellow recipient.

In addition to his wife Rita, Bill is survived by two sons; Jeffrey Taylor and his wife Donna of Bristol and Brian Taylor and his wife Tina of Southington, six grandchildren; Christopher Taylor (Alexandria), Matthew Taylor (Luisa), Jonathan Taylor (Paula), Michael Taylor (Lakin), Brendan Taylor and Caitlin Taylor, and four great-grandchildren; Chase, Blair, Madison and Myla. He is also survived by two sisters, Patricia Nickich of North Carolina and Kathleen Borrelli and her husband George of Fairfield and many nieces and nephews.
