Yvette Marie Roberge

Yvette Marie (Turcotte) Roberge, 84, of Southwick Ct., Cheshire died peacefully in her sleep at Elim Park Health Center, Cheshire, Tuesday Dec. 8, 2009. She was the loving wife of Henry Joseph Roberge for 58 years. Yvette was born March 13, 1925 in St. Henri, Quebec, Canada to the late Honore and Gratia (Blais) Turcotte and moved to Detroit, Michigan in 1951, immediately after marrying Henry on June 16, 1951. In addition to Henry she is survived by their two children, Michael Roberge and his wife Donna and their two sons, Nicholas and Christopher of Bedford, New Hampshire and Jacqueline Sima and her husband James and their five daughters: Jamie, Jean, Jessica, Judith and Juliann all of Cheshire. She was pre-deceased by her four brothers: Paul-Emile, Richard, Gerard and Alphonse and her sister, Stella. Funeral services will be held Monday Dec. 14, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. from the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius Church, 254 Burritt St., Plantsville. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are Sunday Dec. 13, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Yvette may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc., 279 New Britain Rd., Kensington, CT 06037 or to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Doner Services, P.O. Funeral services will be held Monday Dec. 14, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. from the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius Church, 254 Burritt St., Plantsville. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are Sunday Dec. 13, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home.
